Space XY BGaming Review
Space XY is BGaming’s crash game, and after working through the rules and a long run of demo rounds, our verdict is that it is very much worth playing if you enjoy the crash format. It pairs an in-game RTP range of 96.88% to 98.92% with two independent bets per round, so you can set a cautious cashout target on one stake and a higher one on the other in the same flight. The free demo runs on the same rules as the real-money version, which makes it easy to test a cashout approach before you put any money behind it.

How Space XY Works
Each round starts with a countdown, during which you place one or both bets. When the countdown ends, a rocket launches and climbs across a graph. The horizontal axis shows how long the rocket has been in the air and the vertical axis shows the current multiplier, which starts at x1.00 and rises the longer the flight lasts.
Your job is to press “Cashout” before the rocket disappears. If you do, your bet is multiplied by the figure on screen at the moment you cashed out. If the rocket leaves the screen first, any bet still in play is lost. The rocket can disappear at any point after launch, including almost immediately, and nothing in the game tells you in advance when that will happen.
A bet placed after a round has already started carries over to the next round. The rules also note that you can only queue a bet for the next round if you are not already playing in the current one, so you cannot stack a fresh stake on top of a live flight.
Bets, Auto Cash-out and Autoplay
The two bet panels are the feature that separates Space XY from a basic crash game. Each panel has its own stake and its own cashout, so a common approach is to set one bet to cash out automatically at a low multiplier such as x1.5 and leave the other running for a larger target. This does not change the house edge on either bet, but it does let you lock in a smaller return while still having a stake in play for a bigger multiplier.
Auto cash-out is set by entering a multiplier in the box next to “Place Bet”. If the rocket reaches that figure, the game cashes out that bet for you. Autoplay sits behind the “Auto” button, where you choose how many rounds to run. You can adjust bets during each countdown while autoplay is running, and the cross button stops it.
There is one detail in the rules that is easy to miss. Where a win includes fractions of a cent, it is rounded in favour of the house. On small bets cashed out at low multipliers, that rounding takes a slightly larger share of the win than it would on bigger stakes.
Space XY RTP and Max Win Explained
RTP (return to player) is the share of all money wagered that a game pays back over a very large number of rounds. Space XY’s in-game rules give a range of 96.88% to 98.92%, with the exact figure depending on the cashout choices a player makes, and BGaming’s game page quotes 97%, which sits inside that range. The rules do not say which cashout patterns produce the top or bottom of the range, so we would not chase a particular target on the assumption that it lifts your return.
RTP is a long-run average, not a forecast for one session. A 97% RTP does not mean you will get back A$97 from every A$100 you stake tonight; over a short run you can lose your whole budget or land a large multiplier. The house edge applies on every round, whatever strategy you use.
The maximum multiplier is x10,000 and the maximum win is €250,000. A €25 bet cashed out at x10,000 reaches exactly €250,000, so on any larger stake the win cap is reached before the multiplier ceiling. Rounds that reach four-figure multipliers are rare, and the round history in our demo sessions was dominated by results under x10.
Space XY Demo
The Space XY demo uses FUN credits instead of money and follows the same rules as the real-money game, including the two bet panels, auto cash-out and autoplay. You start with a FUN balance, and demo bets range from 1 to 100 FUN per round.
We recommend spending time in the demo before playing for money. It shows how often the rocket disappears at very low multipliers, how quickly rounds follow each other, and how a two-bet approach behaves over a few hundred rounds. BGaming hosts the demo on its game page, and most casinos that carry Space XY offer free play as well.
Playing Space XY for Real Money
Space XY for money plays exactly like the demo, except that your stake and winnings are in real currency. Minimum and maximum bets are set by each casino, so check the limits in AUD before your first round, and confirm that the casino’s information panel shows the same RTP range and max win.
Because cashout timing matters in a crash game, connection quality matters more here than in a standard pokie. The rules state that BGaming takes no responsibility for losses caused by a dropped connection on the player’s side, and a malfunction voids all plays and pays. A stable connection, with auto cash-out as a backstop, reduces the chance of losing a bet because a manual cashout did not register.

Space XY Predictors and Patterns
Space XY predictor apps, signal bots and “hack” tools do not work. Each round’s crash point is produced by a certified RNG, so no outside app has access to it before the round ends. Most predictor products ask for a payment, a deposit through a specific link or access to your casino account, and the most common outcome is that you lose money to the tool as well as to the game.
The round history bar at the top of the screen is a similar trap. It shows recent results, but those results have no effect on the next round. A run of low multipliers does not make a high one more likely, and a string of high results does not mean a low round is due. Any strategy built on reading patterns in the history is based on a misunderstanding of how the game works.
Space XY vs Aviator vs Aviamasters
| Feature | Space XY | Aviator | Aviamasters |
|---|---|---|---|
| Provider | BGaming | Spribe | BGaming |
| Release | 13 January 2022 | 2019 | 2 July 2024 |
| RTP | 96.88% to 98.92% | 97% | 97% |
| Max multiplier | x10,000 | Not published as a fixed figure | x250 |
| Max win | €250,000 | Set by the casino | €250,000 |
| Bets per round | Two | Two | One |
| Cashout decision | Manual or auto | Manual or auto | None; the round pays only if the plane lands |
| Volatility (provider figure) | Not published | Not published | Low |
Space XY and Aviator are the closest match. Both use a rising multiplier, two simultaneous bets and auto cash-out, and the experience of playing them is very similar. Space XY’s main advantages are a published x10,000 ceiling and an RTP range whose top end sits above Aviator’s 97%. Aviator’s advantage is its provably fair system, which lets players verify each round’s result, whereas Space XY relies on a certified RNG.
Aviamasters is a different kind of game despite the shared aviation theme. You set a bet and the plane follows a random path, collecting multipliers and losing half its balance whenever it hits a rocket. There is no cashout decision, and the round only pays if the plane lands on the carrier. With a x250 maximum multiplier and low volatility, it suits players who want frequent smaller results, while Space XY suits players who want to control the exit and accept higher risk for a higher ceiling.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- High RTP range: 96.88% to 98.92% in the in-game rules, at the upper end for casino games.
- Two independent bets: one cautious and one higher target in the same round.
- Auto cash-out on each bet: removes reliance on reaction time.
- Free demo on the same rules: lets you test a cashout approach without spending money.
- x10,000 ceiling: a published maximum, unlike some crash games.
Cons
- House edge on every round: no cashout strategy removes it.
- Fast rounds and autoplay: it is easy to play many rounds quickly and lose track of spending.
- Single mechanic: there are no bonus rounds or features beyond the crash itself, so the game can feel repetitive in long sessions.
- €250,000 win cap: on stakes above €25, the cap is reached before x10,000.
- Connection risk: a dropped connection can cost a manual cashout, and the provider does not cover that loss.
Our Verdict
Score: 4.4 / 5
Space XY is one of the stronger crash games available. The two-bet system with separate auto cash-outs gives players real control over risk within each round, the RTP range compares well with the rest of the category, and the demo is a genuine practice tool because it runs on the same rules as the paid game. We marked it down for the lack of anything beyond the core mechanic and for the pace of play, which makes a firm budget essential. If you enjoy crash games, we think it is worth playing, provided you set a spending limit and a cashout plan before the first launch.

Responsible Gambling
Crash games carry specific risks. Rounds last only seconds, the next countdown starts almost immediately, and autoplay can run many rounds without any input from you. The moment of cashing out can also make a loss feel like a near miss, which encourages another round. Before you play, set a deposit limit with the casino, decide on a session budget and a time limit, and use the casino’s reality checks if they are available. Treat any money you stake as the cost of entertainment, not as a way to make money.
